San Bartolo has always been a place to escape the rush of the city, embrace the ocean, and enjoy the laid-back coastal lifestyle. For us, it became more than just a getaway—it became home. Our love for this beach town and its waves inspired us to create a place where others could experience its charm, whether for a weekend retreat or a longer stay.
Our Story...
... begins in the early 2000s, when we would spend our summers in San Bartolo to surf and disconnect from everything. Wishing we could share this special place with others, we began building our hotel. In the beginning, it only had two floors, but over time it became a five story retreat. In 2011, we expanded with the bungalows and a garage closer to the first pier, which was later transformed into apartment, a restaurant and a café.
San Bartolo Today
Over time, San Bartolo has evolved into a lively and welcoming community. Once a quiet seasonal destination, it now thrives year-round with a growing artist scene, small businesses that stay open even in winter, and an inclusive surf culture. We’ve loved watching the town grow and are excited to continue sharing it with visitors who, like us, fall in love with its energy and charm.
